Composite

Composite stone is a modern worktop material manufactured from a mix of crushed granite and resin.  The manufacturing process allows the material to be consistent in colour and pattern whilst maintaining the same hardwearing properties of granite.  The uniform nature of composite allows it to be used in both modern design situations and also the traditional kitchen environment.  The resistance of composite to water and staining also makes it ideal for installation in bathrooms and wet areas.

Similar to granite, composite is available in a variety if thicknesses and it is worked in the same manner as stone.  Consequently the use of undermount sinks and flushline hobs are freely available and the manufactured nature of this product provides a high impact strength over that of large crystal granite.  Composite stone is manufactured on both a branded and non-branded basis and this is reflected in the pricing and material specification.

The samples below reflect our most popular colour choices and manufacturing times are similar to that of granite with a template to installation time of 10 days.  Additional colours are currently being launched and we would recommend contacting us for samples and product updates.
